You sir, sound like a wonderfully intelligent man. Logitech uses non standard lower row keys (space ,shift, etc) so normal replacement parts won't usually fit in these. Usually this would only happen from unnatural stress or something that would cause the plastic to warp. Mechanical keys with high-speed 'clicky' tactile feedback help you enter commands more rapidly so you can stay on top of your games. With this high-performance gaming keyboard, you can make the right moves with faster, flawless, precision. High-speed tactile switches for feedback you can feel.
They can even be clipped (There's a guide for "clipping" cherry stabilizers). Logitech G710+ Blue Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. If that's the case it can be easily bent back with pliers or another tool. That can cause the stabilizer not to move up/down since the housing could be blocking it. You can also check to see if the "square" plastic housing that surrounds the + stabilizer is somehow warped or bent inwards. If it's not broken, it can probably be easily fixed, but that may require opening the keyboard case. Check BOTH the left AND right sides (although both should react and slide up/down at the same time!) If it does not slide freely, then its either not aligned or broken. That is the problem.Ĭan you grab the + black thing by your fingers and move it up and down? It should slide freely with NO resistance. There is a metal bar under it that is connected to both sides (left and right). Most of the stabilizer isn't visible just the cherry plastic grip and housing. The stabilizers are broken or misaligned. If it functions identically to the regular letter keys, then the switch is fine. Please remove a keycap from a letter key, like /, etc, and put it on the space bar switch. Once again, there is no damage to either the keycap or seemingly the switch, it's a very weird problem and I can't imagine a solution but it's so frustrating to type on. But upon investigation of the switch without the space key cap the switch acts perfectly normal, normal recoil, normal feel, maintains tactile bump. My space bar has become very mushy all the sudded and very slow to recoil back to normal position.
